What do you guys think about dinosaur coloration?

    This is the BBC article about the Sinosauropteryx, and the determination of its color. What are you opinions on the topic?

    Stupid Ginger Dinosaurs!! Anyways, I'm intrigued but I'm gonna wait till I read the published paper before coming to any conclusions.

    Its easy to see the difference "Of" colors, such as bands. But being able to tell "What" colors they are, is a whole different thing. I don't think they have what it takes to call what they have a ginger tinge to their feathers. Pigments die out after awhile, and who knows how much contamination has occurred.
